Dr. Ty Moody

Dr. Ty Moody is a distinguished educator, ministry leader, and entrepreneur whose life and work reflect an unwavering commitment to God, family, and community. A native of Detroit, Michigan, Dr. Moody has devoted her career to developing and implementing transformative strategies that equip students and communities to achieve their fullest potential.

Dr. Moody holds a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Education from the University of Florida, a Specialist Degree in Educational Administration, and a Doctorate of Education in Organizational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University. Her professional journey spans roles as a Substitute Teacher, classroom educator, instructional reading specialist (grades K–12), educational administrator, and College Professor.

In ministry, Dr. Moody serves as the visionary leader of TRANSFORMher, The Worship Center's women's ministry, where she teaches, mentors, and annually convenes a city-wide women's empowerment experience. She is also the founder of Einstein's Playground, a children's learning and development center serving families at the Bessemer and Derby campuses and in the heart of downtown Birmingham. Above all, Dr. Moody counts her greatest honor as being a devoted wife to Dr. Van Moody and a loving mother to her two children, Eden Sydney and Ethan Isaiah.
