When God sent Moses to Egypt to free the children of Israel from oppression, all kinds of hardships took place before they could leave. The people and the land of Egypt suffered horrible plagues. But God’s people were completely unaffected by the bad things taking place around them during that time. Even though they lived in the epicenter of the disasters, they were untouched.
In the challenging economic times in which we live, we need to understand that God still preserves His people in the midst of difficulty. He keeps things together for us when the entire world seems to be falling apart. If we truly place our faith in Him and live by the principles of His Word, we have nothing to fear. We can be encouraged because God has a plan!
