NEW MEMBER INTAKE: The New Member Intake Team is responsible for the intake of all new members. They are responsible for praying for new believers at every worship service and ensuring that eligible candidates are baptized. This team meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. JOIN NOW
NEW MEMBER DISCIPLESHIP: The New Member Discipleship Team ensures the registration, enrollment and completion of classes 101, 201, 301 & 401. They are responsible for scheduling and coordinating the new member fellowship and the graduation ceremony for persons who have completed their new member track. JOIN NOW
FIRST FRIENDS: Our First Friends Team is just what it says they are, the first friend that a new member meets after joining our ministry. These individuals walk with the new member or new family for the first six months of their Worship Center life. They encourage the attendance of bible study, worship services, New Member Discipleship classes, School for Successful Living classes and attendance to all special services or events. In addition, their First Friend will keep them updated with all of the latest news and information happening at The Worship Center. CALL CENTER TEAM: The Call Center Team is responsible for calling all of our new members and visitors on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings. They call each visitor to express heartfelt gratitude for worshipping with us and call each new member to welcome them to our family. This team also answers any additional questions that a new member or visitor may have. JOIN NOW
VISITOR RETENTION: This team is responsible for follow-up of all visitors. They record any comments, prayer requests or family needs to share with Pastor Moody and/or other staff to review and follow- up. Additionally, this team is responsible for greeting first time visitors in the Visitor Reception immediately following worship services on Saturday night and Sunday morning. MEMBER RETENTION MINISTRY: Our Member Retention Ministry guarantees that no member of our family gets lost in the shuffle. They provide ongoing care and concern for our members and their families. If you're sick, have lost a loved one, or at a crossroad in life, our Member Retention Team is there to help you make the right connection. C.A.S.E., C.I.A. and F3 help to make this ministry successful. This team meets the 1st Saturday of each month at 11:00 a.m.
C.A.S.E. (Celebrating Accomplishments, Success and Events): This team helps celebrate the many occasions that our members have. They acknowledge birthdays, weddings, wedding anniversaries, graduations, purchase of a new home, becoming debt free, birth of a new baby and lots of other noteworthy experiences that occur in the lives of our family. C.A.S.E. meets the 1st Saturday of each month at 11:00 a.m. JOIN NOW
C.I.A. (Care in Action): Life can offer so many different experiences but the C.I.A. ensures that our family members don't do life alone. This team shows genuine care and concern in your lowest moments. They provide the love and attention that our members need and deserve. If you're sick, have lost a loved one or just need someone to talk to the C.I.A. is there for our members. In addition, this team is responsible for generating a weekly bulletin of members that are sick, shut-in or hospitalized for distribution to our members. F3 (Fun, Fun & More Fun): This team supports our tenet of "Fun." These individuals do nothing but create and plan ways for us to have fun and fellowship as a family. They meet the 1st Saturday of each month at 11:00 a.m. JOIN NOW
WORSHIP
MEDIA & AUDIO VISUAL MINISTRY: This ministry is responsible for serving and supporting all of the media venues at TWC. They meet the 2nd Thursday of each month at 6:00 p.m. The Media & Audio Visual Ministry includes the following serving opportunities: JOIN NOW
Audio/Video Technicians: The Audio/Visual team ensures a pleasant and enjoyable worship experience by making certain all media and sound levels are helpful in enhancing the corporate worship setting.
CD Recording, Duplication & Sales: This team is responsible for properly recording, duplicating, producing, advertising, order fulfillment and inventory of all sermons on campus, off campus and online.
Presentation Manager: This team is responsible for developing, maintaining and data input of presentation slides that will be utilized in enhancing the corporate worship setting. They also support Pastor Van with scripture text display during delivery of messages.
Videographers: This team is responsible for operating the cameras that provide the visual feed to the overflow rooms and throughout the building.
MUSIC & ARTS: This ministry leads the congregation in expressing the love and adoration of God through music, dance, drama and mime while giving individuals with interests and abilities an opportunity to serve, to learn and to worship. This ministry meets every Thursday at 6:00 p.m. JOIN NOW
PRAYER: This team prays for the entire ministry (vision, goals, projects, and people) along with every specific prayer request that comes through TWC on campus or online. The Prayer Team meets the 4th Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. JOIN NOW
WORSHIP GREETERS: This team welcomes everyone who is on their way to the worship service with a handshake and a smile. The Worship Greeters meet the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. JOIN NOW
WORSHIP USHERS: The welcoming team that assists people into the worship service by handing out bulletins, assisting mothers with children and assisting people in other areas where needed. The Worship Ushers meet the 1st Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. JOIN NOW
WORSHIPPING HANDS (Deaf Ministry): This team is responsible for ensuring that every service and ministry is available to individuals who are hearing impaired. This team meets on the 1st & 3rd Saturday of each month at 11:00 a.m. JOIN NOW
SUPPORT
BOOKSTORE ASSOCIATES: The Bookstore team provides customer service to members and guests who are seeking products and resources to further their study and understanding of the Word of God. This team is responsible for assisting customers with books and bibles, study materials, media products and School for Successful Living class registration and materials. This team also helps customers with apparel, stationery, music and novelty items. The Bookstore Associates meet the 1st Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. JOIN NOW
EXCELLENCE IN COMMUNICATION: The Excellence in Communication team provides staff support for the Information Center Kiosk after every worship service and bible study. This team meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. JOIN NOW
EVANGELISM: This team is responsible for targeting unsaved and/or un-churched individuals in the city of Birmingham and throughout the state of Alabama with the purpose of sharing Jesus with them. This ministry meets the 2nd Saturday of each month at 11:00 a.m. JOIN NOW
FACILITY: This team ensures that our church campus is beautiful and attractive. They are responsible for the set-up, breakdown and storage of tables, chairs, equipment, banners, signs and classrooms.
FINANCE COUNTERS: This team takes care of counting, sorting, and recording all of the offerings from services. The Finance Counters meet the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 5:30 p.m. JOIN NOW
HOSPITALITY: This team is responsible for coordinating all of The Worship Center events and providing care for all special guests and visitors. The Hospitality team meets the 1st Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. JOIN NOW
PARKING LOT AMBASSADORS: This team adds to the entire worship experience by helping to identify adequate and accessible parking. The Parking Lot Ambassadors meet on the 3rd Sunday of each month immediately following the 10:45 a.m. service. JOIN NOW
SECURITY & EMERGENCY RESPONSE: The Security & Emergency Response ministry provides medical assistance and security for all worship services to ensure order is maintained throughout the campus. This team meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. JOIN NOW
STUFFERS: This team ensures that all bulletin inserts are stuffed and included in the bulletin. The Stuffers meets each Saturday before the 1st Sunday at 9:00 a.m. JOIN NOW
TRANSPORTATION MINISTRY: Assist members of The Worship Center Christian Church who are without permanent transportation by providing transportation to and from worship services. By meeting these needs we enable individuals and families alike to be able to worship and serve God. This team meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. JOIN NOW
VOLUNTEER DEVELOPMENT: Volunteer Development is responsible for the centralization of all volunteers. They recruit and coordinate assignments for all ministry volunteer opportunities. This team meets the 1st Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. JOIN NOW
