Family - Men, Women, Children, Youth
Blended Families Ministry
The purpose of this ministry is to assist families as they make the transition from being two established families to becoming one new family. The goal is to help everybody feel at home. With Christ’s help, we provide tools to help families arrive safely to their God-given destination.
Children’s Ministry
Our Children’s Ministry is committed to meeting the specific needs of children, ages 6-months old to 5th grade, and their parents. Through an awesome team of staff members and volunteers, the children are presented with interactive bible lessons that are incorporated with games, songs and arts & crafts.
College Ministry
Our mission is to provide young adults an opportunity to grow spiritually while in an environment of other believers in the same age range. This ministry focuses on providing teachings from the Word of God that are applicable to the lives of college students. Trips, conferences, Bible Studies, care packages and quarterly newsletters are under development for this ministry.
Golden Guys & Girls
The purpose of the Golden Guys & Girls ministry is to provide outreach to individuals in need and to coordinate fellowships for the young at heart to keep them active and connected within the ministry. This ministry is open to those 50 and older.
Marriage Ministry
The purpose of the Marriage Ministry is to create an environment where couples can share together, grow together and build their marriages on a firm foundation. Life-challenging teachings from the Word, ministry opportunities, and fun, fun, fun are all a part of this ministry.
Men’s Ministry
God’s Mighty Men is made up of men who have been called out of darkness into the Kingdom to impact the world. This ministry creates a culture whereby men aggressively learn and live out their purpose in God.
Single’s Ministry
S.A.L.T. (Single Adults Learning Together) provides a safe, yet fun environment to meet, fellowship and grow with other God-fearing people who are not married. This ministry builds leaders not only for church purposes, but for family as well.
Single Parent’s Ministry
The ministry provides spiritual and emotional support by offering applicable teachings and fellowship activities that create an environment of oneness among those who are single parents. The goal of this ministry is to equip parents with the Word of God so that they can effectively pray for themselves, their children and the children of others.
Women’s Ministry - IAMWOMAN
The purpose of “I Am Woman” is to minister to the entire woman by mentoring and offering strategic fellowship. It is our desire to build a community who trusts in God and supports one another.
Youth Ministry - XTraordinary (XT Youth)
The Youth Ministry equips youth grades 6th –12th with the Word of God and challenges them to “live their faith out loud.” The youth are provided with opportunities to use their talents and gifts to edify the body and advance the Kingdom of God.
Assimilation - Visitors, Professional Visitors, Members
Call Center
The purpose of the Call Center is to equip individuals to effectively and pleasantly communicate with all members and visitors who complete a Connect Card. These calls may be in reference to joining a ministry, praise reports, prayer requests, or commonly asked questions about the ministry.
First Friends
First Friends is the ministry designated to establishing a genuine, caring relationship with all new members. First Friends calls and helps new members become acclimated to their new church home by providing information about ministries, special services, upcoming events, etc.
Flock Ministry
This program is designed to minister to the needs of TWC members. It will address the needs of those who have experienced the death of a loved one, hospitalization, or other illness. This ministry consists of Ministers and Deacons and these leaders within the church serve as a point of contact during bereavement, illnesses, or related circumstances.
New Member Intake
The purpose of New Member Intake is to provide biblical direction as souls surrender and accept Jesus as Lord and Savior. A more detailed explanation of salvation is provided as well as information about baptism. This ministry also assists with renewing the commitment of those who have come back to Christ. General information about TWC is given to new members by this ministry.
Visitor Retention Ministry
This ministry adds that “special TWC touch” for all visitors of TWC. They show gratitude to all of our guest and provide them with answers to questions they may have about the ministry. It is our prayer that this ministry would touch the hearts of our guests in such a way that membership would become a consideration.
Volunteer Development
This ministry helps every member determine their gift(s) and talent(s). They provide information about the ministries available at TWC and aid members in “getting connected” to a specific area of interest. Volunteer Development helps create more intimate relationships within our large congregation.
Volunteer Recruitment
The Volunteer Recruitment Ministry is the first area of contact for anyone just starting out on their journey to becoming an active volunteer at TWC. In an effort to make sure every member is active in a ministry, Volunteer Recruitment provides and reviews each member’s “Heart to Serve” form.
Outreach
Evangelism Ministry
The Evangelism Ministry’s purpose is to share Christ with those who do not have a relationship with Him. This ministry goes to parks, shelters, even under bridges to share Christ through prayer, scripture, and encouragement. It is the ministry’s desire that as they share Christ, He would touch the hearts of the people and they would accept Him as Lord and Savior of their lives.
Prison Ministry
The purpose of the Prison Ministry is to spread the message of Jesus Christ by way of a program called "Celebrate Recovery" to those who are incarcerated or transitioning back into society. The Prison Ministry shares salvation with people of all races and creeds and provides the necessary tools to nurture and develop their relationship with Jesus Christ.
Service
Bookstore/ Media Sales
The purpose of the bookstore/media sales center is to provide quality service, products and resources that enable believers to further their study and understanding of God’s Word, as well as the biblical aspects of daily living. This area is not only a resource center for our members, but for the community and people around the world.
Dance Ministry
The purpose of Dokimos (The Approved Ones) Movement Ministry is to create an atmosphere through dance for God to come and dwell among His people.
Excellence in Communication
This ministry is the Welcome Center of TWC. Excellence in Communication is responsible for welcoming members and guests, providing up-to-date information regarding each ministry and event and answering questions that may arise.
Greeter’s Ministry
This ministry welcomes everyone entering the doors of TWC and provides direction and assistance when needed.
Hospitality Ministry
This ministry is responsible for coordinating all of TWC’s events and providing care for all special guests and visitors. The Hospitality ministry is passionate about serving our guests with a spirit of excellence.
Medical
This ministry is staffed by volunteers who have a medical background and current medical license. They are available during each service to meet medical needs. This ministry also coordinates and assists in medically-related events such as health fairs.
Parking Lot Ambassadors
This ministry is vital because they are the “first face” of TWC. They maintain order outside of the building. The Parking Lot Ambassadors identify adequate, accessible and available parking for all who attend. This ministry also welcomes all attendees.
Prayer Ministry
The Prayer Ministry prays for the vision of the house, the Pastor and his family, and the people. Also, there is prayer for the bereaved, those hospitalized and the community. The ministry is also available after each service to pray with individuals. We believe “Prayer Changes Things!”
Security Ministry
The Security Ministry exists to create a safe and peaceful environment for people to worship and fellowship. They are the trained eyes and ears of the church that apply reasonable, basic security measures and ensure the flow of ministry is unaffected by distractions. This ministry is purposefully placed throughout the church to protect and maintain order during all services and events.
Sports and Recreation
This ministry provides recreational activities for men, women and youth. The goal of this ministry is to offer activities through friendly, competitive sports as a means by which to share Christ with others. Our desire is for this ministry to be available beginning the Fall of 2011.
Stuffer’s Ministry
This ministry assists by filling the monthly bulletin with inserts, such as tithing envelopes, connect cards as well as other various items.
Technical Arts Ministry
The Technical Arts Ministry is purposed to Amplify (Audio), Capture and Project (Video), Illuminate (Lighting), and Highlight (Media) the worship experience at TWC. This ministry spreads the message of Jesus Christ via the latest technological advances.
Transportation Ministry
This upcoming ministry provides transportation to and from worship services for members as well as non-members. Our desire is for this ministry to be available beginning the Fall of 2011.
Usher’s Ministry
The purpose of the Usher's Ministry is to provide direction within the sanctuary and overflows to all who come to TWC. This ministry also maintains an atmosphere of order during services by minimizing distractions.
Worship Ministry
The Worship Ministry sets the atmosphere for worship at each service. It is also purposed to encourage and inspire the people of God through music bringing them into a fresh encounter with God.
Worshipping Hands
TWC Worshiping Hands Ministry is the link that bridges the gap between the spoken/hearing world and those who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing. This ministry provides American Sign Language to individuals in order to equip, empower and train them to become strong, impactful believers. Interpreting is offered for all ministry functions and services at TWC.
